Prince Harry’s long-awaited memoir will now not be published until next year due to the period of royal mourning following the Queen’s death, it has been reported.
The revealing book has thrown a lot of shade at the Royal Family and was originally scheduled to be released in “late 2022”, with expectations that it would be released in time for Christmas.
But the death of Queen Elizabeth II last week has reportedly thrown the plans into even more uncertainty.
King Charles has announced that the royal family will remain in mourning for up to seven days after Her Majesty’s funeral on Monday 19 September.
As per protocol, official duties are reintroduced gradually and where appropriate, with personal projects placed on the backburner.
A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told the Telegraph that the book will no longer be published as planned as the couple observe a period of mourning.
It is likely to be postponed until next year, the newspaper reports.

The manuscript is considered completed and approved by lawyers.
But this delay could give the duke time to update it with new chapters about his grandmother’s death and the aftermath that led to the couple reuniting with their grieving family.
Neither the King nor the Prince of Wales are believed to have seen the contents of the book.
Harry announced the publishing deal last summer, promising the book would be an “accurate and completely true” account of his life.
The duke, who also pledged to donate the proceeds to charity, said the memoir would be written “not as the prince I was born but as the man I became”.
