Cnn Announces Debut Of New Morning Show With Don Lemon Poppy Harlow And Kaitlan Collins

  CNN announced Thursday that it will debut a new morning show later this year featuring network stars Don Lemon, Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins.   

  The announcement was made by CNN CEO Chris Licht, who began putting his stamp on the network’s television schedule after taking the helm in May.   

  “There is no stronger combination of talent than Don, Poppy and Kaitlan to deliver on our promise of a game-changing morning news program,” Licht said in a press release.   

  “They are each uniquely intelligent, reliable and exciting.  together they have a rare and palpable chemistry,” added Licht.  “Combined with CNN’s resources and global newsgathering capabilities, we’ll deliver a smart, bold and refreshing way to start the day.”   

  CNN said John Berman and Brianna Keilar, who anchor the network’s current morning show, “New Day,” will remain with the network in different roles when the new show begins.  Berman and Keillor will continue to anchor “New Day” until the new program premieres.
