How to get rid of the new search button in iOS 16
On your iPhone running iOS 16, launch the Settings app, go to the Home screen, and turn off the Show on Home button under Search. Instead of the Search button on your home screen, you’ll now see multiple dots pointing to your various home screen pages. If you press it, nothing happens.
