Live Activities will be available on the lock screen and Dynamic Island, but you won’t see them in the beta because the developers are still working on the support app. The update includes a clean energy charging feature in the United States that forces the iPhone to selectively charge during times when lower-carbon electricity is available, as well as laying the groundwork for Matter, a smart home model that Apple plans to launch supports this fall.
