Guy Purcell A Kamloops man has been charged with sexually assaulting a young woman and RCMP want anyone with information about the suspect to come forward. On September 6, the Prosecutor’s Office of BC approved one count of sexual assault, solicitation of sexual intercourse and uttering threats against Guy Purcell, 38. Kamloops RCMP are appealing to the public for more information following the alleged sexual assault. “Police are releasing a photo of Purcell in order to continue the investigation and identify anyone who may have additional information regarding this alleged sexual assault or any other interactions they may have had with him,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn. The man is described as Caucasian with brown hair and blue eyes, six feet, one inch tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with an athletic build. “We want to encourage parents to share Purcell’s photo with their children as we know that children do not necessarily follow mainstream media, and the investigation to date leads police to believe that Purcell may have had unreported dealings with others young people,” added Evelyn.
