The special master appointed by US District Judge Eileen Cannon is directing lawyers for both the Justice Department and former President Trump to appear in a New York federal court on September 20. Former veteran Chief Federal Judge Raymond Dearie summoned both parties to appear in Brooklyn Federal Court on September 20 at 2:00 p.m. for a “preliminary conference”. Lawyers for both sides are invited to submit “suggested agenda items” for discussion by September 19. Dearie was appointed by Cannon, a Trump appointee who rejected a Justice Department request to lift a temporary ban on the use of about 100 classified records obtained from Mar-a-Lago during the FBI’s Aug. 8 probe .
