The province has named the recipients of this year’s Seniors of Distinction Awards. Prime Minister Andrew Furey and Senior Minister John Abbott presented the awards in Deer Lake on Friday. Doyle of St. Lawrence. receives the award posthumously. The awards recognize experts in their field and the caring individuals who give back to their community.
