About 50 more immigrants got off a bus outside Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington, DC, on Saturday. Three more buses also arrived in New York City as Texas continued to push for sanctuary cities amid a wave of migrants crossing the southern border. The DC bus was carrying people mostly from Venezuela, including a one-month-old baby. Aid workers quickly herded the migrants to a local shelter. The transfers come as the immigration issue has been thrust back into the national spotlight after planes carrying migrants arrived in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
