Well, probably to the chagrin of Rockstar, a bunch of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay seems to have been leaked. The leak comes from GTAForums user teapotuberhacker, who claims to have been responsible for a massive Uber hack that happened recently. The leak includes 90 videos, all from various points during development. While some are just a character walking around or trying out some technical stuff, there are some interesting elements to shoot. The most notable video shows the rumored couple as Bonnie and Clyde (supposed to be named Lucia and Jason) robbing a restaurant, Pulp Fiction style, and controlling the crowd before the cops arrive. Another video shows a character walking around with a pistol in his hand and a rifle on his back, suggesting that Rockstar will be using the Red Dead Redemption 2 inventory system that only allows you to hold a few weapons at a time. Previous GTA games let you carry a full arsenal in an invisible pocket, but that may disappear with this new entry. A different video shows one of Rockstar’s proprietary tools in action, lending further credence to the leak. It also looks like the game will have an incredibly dense crowd based on a video in a strip mall. It’s extremely important to point out that some of these videos date back to 2021, and if true, this represents a work in progress for a game that won’t be released for years. So don’t expect it to blow your hair with the world’s best graphics or details. Of course, this could all be one big elaborate hoax, so take it with a grain of salt. GTAForums users are currently debating whether or not it’s authentic, but many have noted the effort it would take to get the voice actors, create the systems that play here, and more.
