Depending on where you live, your Sunday will either feature hot and windy summer conditions or a final weekend of summer that feels like a typical, dreary fall day. Sunday will begin with the boundary between the seasons stretching from central Ontario to southern Quebec. Communities along and north of the front will see cooler temperatures and steady rainfall throughout the day. Higher totals are possible, especially in northeastern Ontario and eastern Quebec cities. South of the front, however, we still have a summer pattern, with heat and humidity fueling the risk for thunderstorms in southern Ontario. The best chance for storms will fall across the country, parts of the greater Toronto area and the eastern shores of Huron. It won’t last much longer, though. A swing over the eastern half of the country will bring dramatic changes by the end of the week.
