People have lined up for miles to see the Queen’s coffin, but the viewing closed at 6.30am after more than four days. King was “deeply moved” by the condolences The last person in line was Chrissy Heerey, from High Wycombe, who like thousands before her bowed her head in silence. He first saw the Queen’s coffin at 1.15am but said he “felt I had to go through again”, so he lined up a second time. Ms Heerey, who serves in the RAF, said: “I pledged my allegiance to her – I’m just very proud to be in the air force and one of its citizens.” He called the Queen an “amazing lady who will never be replaced”. “I just felt very proud to be there and it was such an honor to be given the privilege to be able to come through again,” Ms Heerey added.
