Both of the Queen’s parents are buried in the tiny chapel, next to the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret. The Queen will be laid to rest next to her parents and sister after the private family funeral as the Duke of Edinburgh’s coffin will be carried with her. He was buried in the Royal Vault, under St George’s Chapel, after his death in April 2021.
